Instructor Highlights

Gerda Godly - Fitness & Dance

How did you become so passionate about what you teach?

Group exercise has been a part of my life since the 80’s. It started with racquetball and then aerobics. Consistent exercise has been my best tool for maintaining balance in my life. When I retired to Corvallis in 2020, the woman who sold us our home recommended the BBB class. Ever since then, I’ve wanted to teach it.

What would you say to someone who says: “Why should I take your class?”

You deserve to be stronger and lead a more active life.

This term Gerda Godly will teach BETTER BONES & BALANCE® at 8:00 a.m. MW (see page 13).

Kahealani George - Youth & Family

How did you become so passionate about what you teach?

Pound changed my life. It made me want to move my body and get to a healthier space. I want everyone to experiences such a unique and alternative way to work out. I love that we focus on shifting minds, not changing bodies. I truly embrace this formats motto of “any age, any stage” We rock!

What would you say to someone who says: “Why should I take your class?”

Trying something new is hard, but what if, you love it? What if, you need it? I am excited to bring Pound fitness to our community and be able to encourage families to get moving together.

This term Kahealani George will teach FAMILY POUND NEW! at 4:30 p.m. MW (see page 26).
