Easter Outdoor Picnic

For Easter this year, we worked on a lot of elements for this shoot ourselves. We really enjoyed finding new pieces and graphics for this year's Easter picnic.

Sticking with the traditional pastel colour palette, we decided on a small picnic in the park complete with some beautiful pastel rugs, cushions, and teepee.

Our small Easter hunt around the picnic area was a cute touch, and my son Sam especially loved going around to each sign and picking up the chocolate eggs which he collected in his little pail.

We sat down with a platter of home baked sweets and the most stunning Easter bunny cake by Chiara, with a custom bunny ear cake topper by Emily from XOXO Designs. Sam loved running in and out of the teepee we had set up (highly recommend for any small or large picnic in the park for all ages as they look amazing and are easy to set up and pack down and they are wonderfully cosy).

For a nice Easter touch, we had beautiful and simple bunny masks. They were placed on plates from Favor Lane Party Boutique. They looked amazing! We also made sure we didn’t forget our little baskets of Easter eggs for the four of us.

We added a touch of Spring with floral elements in both the cake stand and bunny cake, as well as a few bunches hidden around the picnic area.
