Reaching New Heights

Never having had the chance to go wild with balloon art, we finally decided to do it. Armed with a bucketload of inspiration, we set out to create something we've never done before.

We enlisted the services of Meredith from Belle's Decorations by Design with a simple brief - lots of bright colours, and plently of height.

We’d had our eye on a location for over a year. It was an old School of Arts building from 1900. These buildings were an institution in Sydney and centre of social life in the 20th century. Few remain and are dearly holding on for life. I was excited to see the juxtaposition of the bright balloons against the old building.

Despite nature setting us back (June’s coldest and windiest day, with rain thrown in), we finally got to see our vision come together... an amazing organic entry way balloon garland. We absolutely love this trend and can't wait to try it again!

A big thanks to Meredith from Belle's Decorations by Design and Cassie from Bedford Photography for helping us put this together.
