Hope Solutions, formerly Contra Costa Interfaith Housing, is proud to present this year’s 15th annual gala, Ruby Boots – There’s No Place Like Home on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the San Ramon Marriott. All proceeds from this life-changing event directly benefit homeless families and individuals here in Contra Costa County.

Hope Solutions, founded in 1997 by a group of local faith-based congregations, works to heal the multi-generational effects of poverty, trauma, and homelessness by providing permanent housing solutions and vital support services to our communities most vulnerable families and individuals.

Contra Costa County continues to suffer from an extreme shortage of affordable housing. In 2021, over 9,000 people accessed emergency housing services in the County. 71% of those had a disabling condition such as a chronic health, mental or physical disability.

Hope Solutions has served over 2,200 individuals and families this past year apart is its proven model of permanent housing coupled with supportive services. Permanent housing and on-site support services are the foundation on which Hope Solutions residents can build self-reliant, dignified, and sustainable lives.

Housing is just the beginning. Hope Solutions’ skilled team, many with lived experience, work alongside their clients through individualized mental health counseling, employment support, financial literacy, and social and academic youth enrichment. They also provide parenting support and crisis management to heal the deeply rooted trauma of homelessness and poverty. Hope Solutions empowers their clients to reconnect and sustain their community networks.
