BUCKLE UP

Roger Vivier debuts a new bag silhouette

The new Viv’ Choc bag is a tribute to the French accessory house’s signature Choc heel, created in 1959. For this modern buckled silhouette, the brand’s creative director, Gherardo Felloni, was inspired by the minimalist shapes of the 1990s. The new curved buckle clasp makes a bold statement that perfectly complements the soft calfskin leather, inspired by horse bridles, saddlebags, reins and harnesses. A shoulder strap and side constructed with neatly folded flaps is elegant and timeless and seamlessly transitions from day to nighttime wear.

The Tiffany Knot collection honors New York City

Tiffany & Co. welcomes its newest collection to the iconic family: Tiffany Knot. The brand’s hometown of New York is embodied in the architectural symbol of the chain link, refined into a modern shape that harnesses the energy of the city into jewelry. A juxtaposition of smooth, elongated curves with striking harsh angles make up a range of bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings in 18-karat yellow and rose gold, along with diamond pavé.

TIME FOR CHANGE

Tom Ford Timepieces releases N.003

As Tom Ford Timepieces evolve from the N.001 and N.002 models, the brand introduces N.003, focusing the simplicity of the silhouette into a sporty timepiece. Without any numerals, the focus is on the case. “The N.003 exemplifies the craftsmanship and simplicity I was looking for in the next evolution of Tom Ford Timepieces,” says designer Tom Ford. “I wanted to bring the focus back to the elegance of the watch face by stripping back the numerals and emphasizing the clean, sophisticated design.” The watches are available in polished stainless steel with a black, white or chrome dial and the option of interchangeable straps in a variety of colors and materials.

GUCCI virtually unveiled its fall collection to celebrate its centennial. The collection, Aria, features the past, present and future of the fashion house. “Gucci becomes for me a hacking lab made of incursions and metamorphoses,” says the brand’s creative director, Alessandro Michele. “An alchemical factory of contaminations where everything connects to anything. A place where thefts and explosive reactions happen, a permanent generator of sparkles and unpredictable desires.” This breakthrough collection pays homage to the iconic equestrian heritage of the brand while taking references from the era of Tom Ford and borrowing from French sister brand Balenciaga. ■
