GCMAG: Hello Mike! Thanks for taking the time to chat with us about Golf Cart Pros. Tell us what you guys do. MIKE: Golf Cart Pros, simply put, helps golf cart dealerships build a cutting-edge online presence by either creating or redesigning golf cart dealer websites with a focus on converting website visitors into new cart leads and sales. Not only are we highly focused on conversion, but we excel at increasing a dealer’s exposure in search engines like Google and on social platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

We are very unique in three important ways. First, we don’t just build a cookie-cutter website and move on to the next client. We build a customized, golf-cart-themed website, that generate sales and meets the needs of the dealership. Secondly, we work with that dealership (if they desire us to) and help them effectively market their business through SEO (search engine optimization), paid traffic, and social media. And third, we only do this for golf cart dealerships which gives us a very specialized expertise in the golf cart industry.

GCMAG: That is very unique. How did you decide to do this for the golf-cart industry? Mike: Interesting question. My partners were actually heavily involved in the golf cart industry. In fact, they still are. But all of us, for many years, owned successful web-related businesses and we really became experts at internet marketing and web development. After long careers in building web-related businesses, my partners got involved in the golf cart industry and brought their web savviness to their golf cart businesses and did very well. I approached them about creating a web development company where we could help other golf cart dealers achieve the same online success. They jumped at the opportunity.

GCMAG: How many employees do you have? Tell us about your team. Mike: We have around 7 total people on our team and though seemingly small, we work with many dozens of companies and have helped them achieve tremendous success.

GCMAG: You talked a little earlier about what makes you different from other web development companies, but can you elaborate a little on what services you offer? Mike: We really do it all when it comes to digital marketing. We build custom websites, we do online marketing that includes SEO, Local SEO, Google Adwords advertising, Facebook/ Instagram advertising, Social Media management, Graphic

Design, Reputation Management (managing reviews), and we can even build custom software if a client needs it.

Again, the competitive advantage that we bring to the table is that we KNOW the golf cart industry and we know Digital Marketing better than anyone else. We know the language, we know the keywords to exploit, we know what works and what doesn’t work and most importantly we know exactly what Google is looking for to engineer a website that outperforms competing dealerships. But that does not mean that we don’t listen to what our clients want. Our clients know their businesses and customers better than we do so we ultimately deliver what they want. We have an in-depth interview process that uncovers all the aspects and concerns of an existing business and allows us to formulate a strategy that combines our “know how” with the dealer’s needs and wants. In addition, our clients are very grateful that we can provide industry-related insights from working with dozens of other companies. This partnership has really worked well for us and our clients.

GCMAG: That’s very interesting. Mike, what’s the future for Golf Cart Pros? MIKE: The future is very bright indeed. We’re really just starting. We launched GCP two years ago and we are growing very fast. The golf cart dealership industry is changing. For decades it’s been a little mom and pop and not much emphasis on

technology and online marketing. This is changing. Dealerships want to evolve and catch up to the technology and we are here to help them all along the way.

GCMAG: That makes a lot of sense. Is there anything else you’d like to add? MIKE: We are digital marketing specialists. We are laserfocused on one industry and that gives us a lot of insight and credibility. We like to think of our company as a giant toolbox that any dealership that works with us has access to. One dealership may not need all of our tools. Another dealer may want everything we have to offer. But regardless of the situation, we can help any dealer create a dynamic online presence and increase digital reach. This is what we do. And we are incredibly reasonable when it comes to cost. We know that our clients are not Fortune 500 companies. Our services generally pay for themselves in the first 60 days by increasing dealer revenue and lead flow.
