My subject this month is the beautiful country of New Zealand. I have been fortunate enough to visit New Zealand on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Some say NZ is a bit behind the times, the famous Qantas pilot saying that they were on finals to Aukland so suggested people adjusted their watches back by 25 years! Quite the opposite for me, I saw 24 hour opening in the period up to Christmas well before it was common in the UK or Australia.

NZ has so much beautiful scenery, the people are really lovely, you can walk the streets without fear, the fauna and flora are both unusual and magnificent. A photographers paradise which makes the PhotoArtist’s work especially enjoyable. I would go to live there, tomorrow, especially with their excellent response to the pandemic…but would they have me?
