Parkside Elementary: Small Hands Can Change the World in a Big Way

Parkside Elementary is excited for 2022! Our school is located right across from Mullins Park and the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. We are home to students from Specialized Pre-K through 5th grade and we are home to an Autism Special Program. Parkside is focused on providing the best learning environment for all our students. We focus on building a love of reading, project-based learning, student collaboration, and providing targeted support for students who need it.

We encourage our families to get involved through the PTA and by joining us for our School Advisory meetings. Our PTA organizes many fundraising activities and special events throughout the year. If you are interested in joining the PTA, advertising with a fence banner, our shopping for some Parkside shirts and other items, visit the PTA on Facebook at coralspringsparksidepta.

In January, we participated in the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge where we raised money for a great cause, learned about heart health, and culminated with a special school wide celebration and fitness event. Parkside has many activities including Robotics, Safety Patrol, Green Team, and later this spring we will be offering a variety of afterschool clubs through our program called Panther Pastimes. This year we are offering dance, art, fitness, cooking, and more. Parkside also has a fantastic before care and after care program.

We would like to say a special congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Jennifer Epps and our School Related Employee of the Year, Ms. Vanessa Godinho. Their dedication to Parkside shines through every day and we are so lucky to have them on our staff!

We strive for open communication with all our families, so please reach out to your child’s teacher or our support staff if you have any questions or concerns.

Parkside Elementary is located at 10257 NW 29th Street in Coral Springs. Our principal is Mrs. Laneia Hall and she can be reached at (754) 322-7850. Visit our website at parkside.browardschools.com for more information.
