• GET WITH THE PROSE: Part workshop, part performance, attendees will learn techniques to create their own poems while enjoying a poetry performance. August 18, 7:00PM-9:00PM.

• 18th ANNUAL ART COMPETITION: An exhibition showcasing the winning artwork from the 18th annual art competition. Artworks will include the winning drawings, paintings, photographs, and sculpture. On view May 5 through July 11. Opening Reception on Friday, May 5, 7:00PM-9:00PM.

• IS PROJECTS: A printmaking exhibition partnering IS Projects, a Miami based public access printmaking studio, with the resident artist of Studio 18. On view from July 28 through September 23. Opening Reception Friday, July 28, 7:00PM-9:00PM.

Exhibitions At The Frank

• INHABITED: Through May 20. An exhibition that reflects on our relationship with the environment and the space we continuously occupy. • OLIVER JEFFERS: A kid-friendly exhibit celebrating 15 years of stories from artist Oliver Jeffers. Featuring over 80 artworks right from the pages of Jeffers’ books. Opening Thursday June 15 6:00PM9:00PM. On view from June 15 through September 9.

• MOVIE NIGHT ON THE PLAZA: The Frank invites families to enjoy an outdoor movie at the plaza of the Charles F. Dodge City Center on May 6, 2023. Movie Night Under the Stars features “The Secret Life of Pets”. Bring your chairs, blankets, and loved ones for this fun-filled film, celebrating everyone’s favorite family members – our pets. Before the film starts, enjoy balloon art and face painting. Free popcorn provided. Snacks and drinks available for purchase. Plaza will open at 7:00 PM and the movie will begin at sundown. • WORKSHOP- SUN AND SOY: Led by artist Andrea Huffman, participants will learn modified versions of traditional surface design techniques. After a brief overview, participants will be instructed through their own projects, transforming plain fabric into original textiles that can be hung as works of art or used to create apparel, quilts, or home décor.
