He presents his paintings, drawings, weavings, wooden sculptures, and immersive installations.

Hurtado uses bright colors, symbolic images, and various materials to explore how beliefs are interpreted and represented through ritual and artifact. See inside Madrigal’s art studio where she builds her fabric-based sculptures.
