10TH ANNUAL BOW WOW WEEN

9:00AM-1:00PM. The City of Pembroke Pines is ready for our fur friends and their owners to have a Bark-tacular good time at the Annual Pet Halloween Event. This year’s event will take place at The K-9 Officer Craig Rupp Dog Park located at 9751 Johnson Street (just east of Palm Ave.). There will be a costume contest for all dog sizes with different categories, games, prizes, and pet related vendors. For the costume contest, walk-ins are welcome or applications can be completed in advance to participate. Categories include Best Family Costume, Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume, Cutest Costume and Most Original Costume. Miss Bow Wow Ween 2022 will also be crowned on this special day. The winner will receive a crown and sash, along with a prize basket valued at over $100. FISHING DERBY AT CENTRAL PARK IN PLANTATION

8:00AM-12:00PM. For ages 7-14. Get your young one out to the lake in Central Park for our 2022 fishing derby! Pre-registration is required for all our young anglers. Three categories will be rewarded: Heaviest Catch, Longest Catch, Most Catches. 8:00AM: 7 & 8 year-olds; 9:00AM: 9 & 10 year-olds; 11:00AM: 11-14 year-olds. Cost is $10/angler.

4:00PM-7:00PM. Savor the Sounds will be the City of Pembroke Pines newly revamped Jazz in the Pines Series for the Fall and Spring months! This collaboration of music and food trucks will be the perfect way to get the family together for a relaxing, feel good evening of good food and good music! This new event series will bring something fresh to the lineup of events and encourage the community to engage in family friendly activities while enjoying the fresh outdoor setting that our City Center has to offer! We will continue to have some local Artist and interactive Art elements at this event while providing some fun yard games for the kids like corn hole, connect 4 and giant chess. A “Food Truck Face off” will be incorporated to determine the crowd favorite of the night, which is a sure way to keep the crowd engaged and the food top of the line! BOO-VILLE 2022

6:00PM-9:00PM. The City of Pembroke Pines invites you to Boo-ville. It’s a BOO-tiful time to stroll down to the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way. Trick-or Treating made easy. Free activities for the entire family. The first 1,000 children will be treated to pre-made GOODY BAGS. Make sure you smile for the camera, because our ROAMING MONSTERS (Judges) will be judging your costumes and dance moves for prizes. The entire family will have a Fab-BOO-lous time and can be part of the production and be seen on the GIANT TV Screens having a FANG-tastic time. Many spooky surprises are planned between the hours of 6:00-9:00pm for those willing to attend. Just “Let the Ghoul Times Roll” NO pets allowed. No face covering masks for guest over 12 permitted.
