WESTON MIRACLE LEAGUE BASEBALL Players with disabilities (5 years of age and older) and Volunteer Buddies (13 years of age or older) are welcome – feel free to attend any or all of the games during the season. You can join in the fun at any time. No prior baseball experience is needed. Volunteers will receive community service hours for participating. The 12th season of Weston Miracle League Baseball begins in November and runs through January. The games are played at Rose G. Price Park, 901 NW 208th Ave., Pembroke Pines. Weston Athletic League and the National Babe Ruth League believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in baseball or softball. The Bambino Buddy-Ball League helps to make that dream a reality for physically and/or mentally challenged ball players. With the help of a special “buddy” to swing a bat, round the bases or catch a ball, ball players are able to experience the thrill of the game. Designed to foster confidence and self-esteem, make memories and have fun.
