25th Annual Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital Run For Tomorrow And Get Fit Challenge

It’s the 25th Anniversary of The Rotary Club of Weston’s Run for Tomorrow event and it is shaping up to be the best year yet! Weston’s largest annual event features several different race events, as well as live music and a Health and Fitness Festival. With a variety of interactive booths, there will be plenty of fun for all ages to enjoy after the race.

The event will be held Sunday, December 4th at Cypress Bay High School located at 18600 Vista Park Boulevard in Weston. Preliminary race times are as follows: Half-Marathon at 6:20AM; 10K at 6:50AM, 5K at 7:00AM. Race fees vary per category. All runners will receive a premium dri-fit race shirt, runner medals, free parking, a breakfast buffet and entrance to the Health & Fitness Festival.

“In its 25-year history, The Rotary Club’s Annual Run for Tomorrow and Family Health and Fitness Festival has generated well over $2,000,000 for local charities, nonprofit organizations and The Rotary Foundation,” Frank Dreier Run Chair of the Rotary Club of Weston. “We are looking forward to another successful event that will directly help our community.”

There is also a City of Weston 1-Mile Family Walk and Commission Cup challenge for Weston area elementary school students and their families. Elementary schools can win cash prizes, and the school with most participants percentage-wise will be recognized with the prestigious Commission Cup award.

The Family Health and Fitness Festival will be open to the public on-site from 8:30AM until 12:00PM. Festival activities will include 50+ booths and event locations with health-related and sports activities and competitions, children and adult obstacle courses, dunk tank, an event stage, a raffle for a PlayStation5 Set grand prize, and much more.
