CORAL SPRINGS YOUTH SOCCER

The current season is underway! Girls and Boys ages 4½–19 of every skill level are welcome to register. First-time registrants are required to bring a copy of a birth certificate or passport and a utility bill as proof of Coral Springs residency. ALL players may register online at www.csys.org/registration. Non-residents are subject to a $50 surcharge. The season begins with practices the week of November 13th and games begin the first weekend in December. Affordable, multi-level Team Sponsorships are available. PARKLAND SOCCER

The season begins with pre-season practice in late October and continues through the end of February. Divisions begin at age 4 and go up to age 17. Non-residents must provide the City of Parkland Sports Card number at time of registration. (Registration will not be accepted without the non-resident card number). We are always in need of coaches, assistant coaches, team sponsors and referees. Register online at www.parklandsoccer.net.

Kickstart Soccer

Kickstart Soccer classes develop fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and trapping. In addition, general fitness and motor skills such as running, balancing, and jumping are also emphasized. For older classes, game situations and small-sided scrimmages are introduced so that children become comfortable playing in recreational and competitive leagues. WOMEN’S OVER 40 RECREATIONAL SOCCER LEAGUE

Games are played 8v8, on turf on Friday evenings at 7:00pm at Bamford Park, 3801 S. Pine Island Road in Davie. The level of play is recreational, and beginners are welcome. Games are played with FIFA rules minus the offsides rule. Individuals only; no team sign-ups. Cost is $100 per person. For further information, please call or text Alicia Poole at (954) 554-1198.

Coral Springs Aquatic Complex

(954) 345-2121, www.aquaticcomplex.com. 12441 Royal Palm Boulevard, Coral Springs. One of Broward County’s hidden jewels is the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex in the SportsPlex. This world-renowned facility is home to national and international swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and diving competitions. Olympic divers and swimmers from all over the world come to train at this facility, including Olympic gold medalist, Dara Torres.

• SWIM CLUB: Is a year-round competitive swim program for children and young adults, consistently ranked in the top three swim clubs in the nation for teaching stroke excellence. Tryouts held Mon.-Thurs. Call for locations.

• SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING: This sport combines the skills of gymnastics, dance and swimming with the strength and endurance of weightlifting. Call to register and come out and try a practice.
