Kidokinetics Open a New World Headquarters

ABOUT KIDOKINETICS: Kidokinetics was founded by Weston resident, Terri Braun, in South Africa and brought to the USA in 1997. The first Kidokinetics class started in Weston in 2000 with 80 children showing up for the first class at Weston Regional Park. Terri applied her experience as a teacher and athlete with her passion to keep children positive and active to develop her programs. Kidokinetics engages children with fun, high-energy sports and fitness classes, introducing physical education to children of all ages. The company is now a national franchise brand as a premier sports, fitness, health, and recreation program provider.

Even through the COVID-19 pandemic era, parents continue to be eager for their kids to get active and limit screen time, and the Kidokinetics franchise system is looking to provide the solution. Led by Founder Terri Braun and Franchise CEO Dave Pazgan, the brand has attracted the interest of dynamic franchise leaders to help support its mission to empower and educate kids through physical activity. “I believe in the program Terri developed. Bringing my business and franchise development experience to Kidokinetics has created a great partnership and synergy for the company’s growth,” says Pazgan.

The sports and physical education brand operates 21 franchises nationwide and hopes to add another 100 in the next two years. Kidokinetics is wellpositioned to continue growing. The brand recently opened a new world headquarters in Davie, FL.

“I have been blessed to be able to run a business from home for over twenty years. This gave me a chance to balance my time raising my three children while growing the company. Similar to my kids moving on to college; it is time for Kidokinetics to move out of my home office and into our new headquarters. We’ve created a great facility with office space, meeting area, and a training area for our franchisees. We also have an indoor pickleball court”, says Braun. Yes, a pickleball court is a unique element of the office where the Kidokinetics team can take an activity break and have fun while working. “Our entire corporate culture is about creating fun physical activity programs for children, so why not add some fun activity to our work days too?”

“We are excited about our new headquarters and our continued momentum growing the company. I am proud that our growth is making a positive influence every day on thousands of kids every day around the country. Now more than ever, kids need physical education enrichment programs to support their overall development as well as mental and physical wellness,” says Braun.
