A CLOSE EMPHASIS ON THE CHANGE BRINGERS OF TODAY’S INDIA Change is among the most popular and necessary things in today’s world. With people contending and causing disruptions of various scales and types, the world has to adapt and often evolve. The most significant change, however, is the endeavor to reform, empower youth, dispel stereotypes, and finally polish talents so they can make a critical difference in society. These gravitational figures are found everywhere and serve as the idols of positive and required reform. This also applies to India, a country that is a mashup of cultures, religions, ethnicities, beliefs, and ideologies. The nation has a long history of change-makers who have accomplished extraordinary feats in life. Environmentalists like Jadav Payeng, sociopreneurs like Dr. Raani Baang and Beena Rao, and former freedom fighter and current youth developer Sudhanshu Biswas are just a few examples. We are aware of the heroic men and women who fought for our freedom, but these “modern-day heroes” are changing lives all over India and improving the nation. These people and their work have inspired many Indians to think beyond the bottom line. While a flood of young entrepreneurs is driving industrial transformations, others are providing creative and workable answers to economic and social problems at the local, national, and regional levels, as well as educating policymakers and other key stakeholders about the advantages and value of social entrepreneurship. As an editor & writer, I believe anything that can help our society and the world become a better place is worth featuring. Technology and innovation are undoubtedly important, but we cannot ignore the reality that social barriers do not exist in modern culture. In light of this, the ensuing special edition provides insight into a young and dynamic persona of Mr. Chiranjiv Patel. He believes in and works to see the youth lead our nation to a new level of prominence. He is an entrepreneur, a change-maker, and a mentor. His rise to prominence is a story worth your time. Be sure to read our other articles for more insight on leadership endeavors and industrial sectors. The underlying vision behind this note is to help our readership be more contributive. While being career and growth-driven, they must not forget that “a simple act of caring can create an endless ripple.” After all, the noblest change one can make is the one they themselves become.

He and his team fed more than 12 lakh people of the city in 54 days of Lockdown. He wants to empower women because they are the ones who give birth and are the primary shapers of the society we live in.

She was chosen to lead the BJP in Mayurbhanj as both state and district president of the Schedule Tribe Morcha. She held the position from 2006 and 2009.

Personal Life: Draupadi Murmu, the daughter of Biranchi Narayan Tudu, was born into a Santali tribal family on June 20, 1958, in the village of Baidaposi in the Odia district of Mayurbhanj. Under the Panchayati Raj structure, both her father and grandfather were chosen sarpanches. She graduated in arts from Rama Devi Women’s College. Her husband was a banker named Shyam Charan Murmu, who passed away in 2014. She had 3 children- 2 sons and 1 daughter. Unfortunately, both her sons died. Between 2009 and 2015, a 7-year period, she lost her husband, two boys, mother, and brother. Her upbringing had been challenging since she was born into a tribal family that was battling with poverty in one of the most remote and underdeveloped areas of the country.

On May 18, 2015, Murmu took the oath of office as the first female governor of Jharkhand and served till 2021. Apparently, Draupadi Murmu was also a nominee from NDA for the previous presidential election which was in 2017. She was 59 at that time and luck was considered to be by her side. In 2022, the time really has come for this woman tribal candidate to occupy the highest office of the country. She studied at the Unit 2nd High School and Rama Devi College which is now a university in Bhubaneswar. She started working as a junior assistant in the State Irrigation and Power Department from 1979 to 1983. Then, she joined Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre at Rairangpur until 1997.

Despite all challenges, she was able to earn her undergraduate degree in the arts at Ramadevi Women’s College in Bhubaneswar, where she also had a junior assistant position with the state of Odisha’s irrigation and electricity division. She began her career in politics as the Rairangpur NAC’s vice-chairman. Also, she received the Best MLA of the Year 2007 award from the Odisha Legislative Assembly. As a former employee of the transport, commerce, fisheries, and animal husbandry ministries of the government of Odisha, she had extensive administrative experience.

Some Facts about her: • She loves reading and knitting • To take care of her children, she left her gover ment job in 1983. • She was the first governor of Jharkhand to complete 5-year term • In Pratusha Benerjee’s suicide case, she met her parents to console them in 2016. • She donated her eyes to the Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital in Ranchi in 2016. • She fell into depression following her sons’ and husband’s death. She started following Brahmakumari Nirmala who made her able to fight the depression. Brahmakumari Nirmala tied a Rakhi to Draupadi. • She was also a candidate in 2017 Indian Presidential Elections from Jharkhand but couldn’t win. • Now, in 2022, she has been provided Z security after her selection for the Presidential post. • After her election for the president post she has been shown sweeping the floor of a Shiva temple in Rairangpur on many news channels

Political Life: Murmu comes from a tribal community and started her career as a teacher. Being from a political family, she soon entered into Odisha politics. In 1997, Murmu became a member of the BJP and was chosen to serve as a councillor for the Rairangpur Nagar Panchayat and then again was elected in 2000, to lead it. She served as the Minister of State with Independent Charge for Commerce and Transportation under the BJP and Biju Janata Dal coalition administration in Odisha from March 6, 2000, to August 6, 2002, then again for Fisheries and Animal Resources Development from August 6, 2002, to May 16, 2004.

ARCH10 CAME INTO BEING

The company was established in the year of 2012 under the guidance of its Principals: Sandeep Singh and Dilraj Kaur. According to Arch10’s Design Philosophy, and design of any scale or function should evolve as a story of evolution to exist. This redeems across the complete spectrum of designing.

The company is a fast-growing architectural and interior design consultancy. It offers multi-disciplinary services, including Master Planning, Architectural Consultancy, Interior Planning, and Landscape Designing. Using the tools of Massing, Material Mapping, and Color indexing, Arch10 ensures that the design evolves from a fundamental platform with minimalistic planning and wastages. www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 5 | Issue 1 | August 2022 | INDIA

Arch10 has pursued projects of pan India of various scales and disciplines. The company’s works include Townships, Mass Housing, IT parks, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Institutional, Industrial, Interiors, Social, and Welfare. Our projects have been both Architectural and Interiors. 16

Today, the firm looks towards a new India, transforming and upgrading the thought process of an individual to the latest technologies and its usage in interiors as well as architectural practices.

The company considers the entire workforce as the core team where everyone is given the responsibility of various projects. This helps them to be more accountable for a client’s satisfaction.

HAPPY CLIENTS

INSPIRATION FROM EACH ERA

Arch10 has clients with varying statures, needs, and disciplines. The company considers itself quite fortuitous; therefore, it deals with large corporations to individuals. However, the methodology remains quite the same. The firm breeds the dream of the client through various means before hitting ground zero and finalizing the design. It is their core objective to ensure the substantiality of a design.

Architecture is a practice that is dated for ages and has been followed as a hierarchy through the masters and their followers. Arch10 looks up to and respects the exponents of the past, the present, and the future and get inspired from them to subsequently share the same to the next generation.

A GLANCE IN THE FUTURE

Arch10 Design Consultants is constantly working to contribute globally and work towards building a strong portfolio pan India and even transverse over the new region.

For instance, in the realm of Green Housing, Arch10 is working on various projects, including Karnam Greens, Dehradun. It is also working on several shopping malls, exhibition spaces, Cineplex, showrooms, office spaces, and institutional projects. To name some, South Point Mall, Patna, D.P.S Jhansi, M.L.S Jewellery Store, Meerut, Agra Trade Center, Agra, Laaj Enterprises, Gurgaon would be a few. The Interior Portfolio includes Food Court, JP Paradise, Chhatarpur, Shalom Presidency School, Gurgaon, RL Khanna Exports, Gurgaon, Lotus Group office, Gurgaon, Agra Trade Center, and many more.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The firm believes each day is an achievement. Every day they access the opportunity to learn, which is precious in itself. The company wants to be the most humble entity in respect of Design Practices and has been proud to contribute to the field of Architecture and Design. Arch10 is well gratified of its knowledge as well as projects it has received the opportunity to. For the company, a milestone is to get appreciated for its contribution to the Society in the form of Innovation and Built spaces.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IS VITAL

Arch10 not only believes in R&D, but they have indeed taken a step further with their own thought process and coined I, R&D, which translates to Inspire, Research and Develop. The first step of seeking inspiration across the globe is taken, upon which the research is conducted. Furthermore, the development is fueled by cost control factors. This has indeed been essential in the growth of the company from the day of inception.

Milestones are apparently crucial for the general morale of the whole office, and there have been quite a few achievements we can be really proud of. Being awarded as one of the best interior designers and Architects in Gurgaon by the coveted Times Media at the international leadership awards 2018 is undoubtedly one of them.

BEING RELEVANT

Every industry struggles with the relentless competition. Acquisitions of projects become a challenge in the environment of abundance in service. Arch10 design consultants believe in creating marketing trends and in leading in the creation of these trend lines. To simply put it, not follow, but create patterns.

SCOPE OF THE INDUSTRY

Interior and Architecture are the two vital organs for a living building. The extent and scope of Architecture is the extent and scope of interiors and more. A building without interiors in Arch10’s opinion is simply a mannequin without apparel.

Through this process, the company constructs a different space for itself in the industry.

Arch10 design consultants think that this industry has its own standpoint and weightage along with prestige and shall be among the leading scope in the field of construction.

KEEPING A BALANCE IS THE KEY

Arch10 design consultants are a big family, as stated. The exclusion of boss culture remains workforce content. The office provides a warm and friendly space where creativity is promoted.

COMPANY CULTURE

The architectural firm simply believes that the concept of employees and employers is redundant since the said ‘employees’ contribute equally to the design as the Principles do. Arch10 has an absolute open platform work culture where the concept of ‘Sir/Ma’am’ is not appreciated.

An individual’s personal life is as important as the professional one. Hence, the company promotes a work-life balance. It is essential for keeping the creative process unique and upbeat. 17

But she supports strongly women entrepreneurship and empowerment as everyone has a talent, which is rarer to put to the workforce because of their family responsibilities. That does not matter for her tograduate in interior designing at the age of 44 after her kids were well grown. She found this phase very challenging to become a student again and had tried very hard not to let her thoughts wander on the whereabouts of the family and things. For doing the things rightand done before the family comes to home at the end of the day, she feels completely connected with both work and home positively.Mrs.Charithaowes it all to her family for encouraging her to become the best women entrepreneur. She trusted that she wouldn’t have accomplished all this as much as she can now if her family has not played the role of her backbone support. Her family always believed in her talent for creating aesthetic living spaces.

THE REAL POWER BACKUP - EMPLOYEES Whenever the clients appreciate them for their work, she gave full credit to the employees. By doing so she turnsinstills and self-confidence in them which motivates them to work extra hours to reach the deadlines and standards of the work. Founder of The Studio Verve, has changed her mission “because of me only” attitude to “because of them”attitude. She loved expressing and appreciation with a gesture of monetary benefits as she trulybelieves that a happy employee can make the customers happy. A person who is appreciated will do more than what is expected. She values the team as the difference of options and their perspectives and gives them the opportunity to share their views. CLIMACTERIC TURNING POINTS AND ATTAINMENTS She had mastered the designing challenge andtries to constraint living spaces through her innovative and creative designing. On the other hand, India is the country that is believed to be the birthplace of many Hindu gods, like Ram, Krishna, and more. It tells us, why this country has so many ancient temples. With speaking of ancient temples, how many temples do you know in India? Well, Today, we will be exploring 10 famous temples in India.

Rameshwaram

Lord Jagannath Temple

Tirupati Balaji

4. Tirupati Balaji.

Tirupati is also one of the most famous and visited places of worship in the country. Every day, this temple is visited by anywhere between 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims (30 to 40 million people per year), while on special occasions, like the annual Brahmotsavam, the numbers increase up to as high as 500,000. This temple is known by various other names, the most famous one “Sri Venkateshwara”. It sits atop one of the 7 peaks of Tirumala Hills, attracting scores of Hindu pilgrims. This temple is dedicated to the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, called Balaji.

Vaishnav Devi Temple

5. Vaishnav Devi Temple.

With an annual footfall of around 8 million devotees, Vaishnav Devi is the second most visited temple in India. It is situated in the lap of Trikuta hills which is 13 km from base camp Karta, Reasi, near Jammu city. The temple is one of the 108 Shakti Peethas dedicated to Durga, worshipped as Vaishnav Devi. There is a story behind it, it says more than 700 years ago, Vaishno Devi, who was a devotee of Vishnu, had taken a vow of celibacy. One day, lord Bhairon Nath saw her and chased after her. During the chase, the goddess felt thirsty and shot an arrow into the earth from where a sprain gushed out.

6. Somnath Temple.

Somnath temple, dedicated to the lord of shiva, is believed to be the first of 12 jyotirlingas (Devotional shrines of Lord Shiva) in the country, the temple receives a large footfall of around 45-lakh visitors every year. The first temple is said to have existed 2000 years ago. Many spiritual Gurus believe that Somraj (the moon god) first built the temple in Somnath, made out of gold; this was rebuilt by Ravana in silver, by Krishan in wood, and by Bhimdev in stone. The temple is located in Sagar Kant of Saurashtra in Gujarat state.

Somnath Temple

Kashi Vishwanath

7. Kashi Vishwanath.

Located on the western bank of the holy river Ganga in Varanasi, this temple is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. People from all over the country come to take a dip in the holy waters of the river “The Ganges”. The place is called the spiritual capital of India, believed to be one of the oldest serving cities in the world, dating back to the 11th century B.C. The present Kashi temple was commissioned in the 18th century by Rani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore.

8. Dwarkadhish. Dwarkadhish is the fourth of the Char Dham, located in the town of Dwarka on the Arabian Sea. The temple is the abode of Krishan and was rebuilt by Raja Jagat Singh Rathore (on the banks of the Gomati River). That’s how it named Jagat Mandir as well. But the existing temple is dated to the 16th century. According to Hindu spiritual Gurus, the temple was built by Krishnan’s grandson, Vajranabha, over the Hari-Griha. 9. Amarnath Cave Temple.

Yatra to Amarnath Cave for which one has to trek a height of about 14,500 ft is full of excitement and joy. The feeling of the divine, which is always beneath one’s heart, burst out, and one realizes “Moksha” as one attends the Cave and performs the prayer before the Shivalinga. Surrounded by beautiful nature, a valley, mountain, anyone can feel Lord Shiva’s presence in the paradise of the earth. Probably, the reason is why the temple is so famous in India.

10. Golden Temple.

The origin of the name of this temple is Sri Harmandir Sahib temple. It is situated in the holy city of the Sikhs, Amritsar. The temple is famous for its fully golden dome. Also, it is one of the most sacred pilgrims’ spots for Sikhs. The golden temple is built on a 67-ft sq of marble and is two storied structures. Apart from the architecture of this temple, another thing that impresses visitors a lot is the Langer of the Golden temple, also known as the Guru Ka Langer, a free meal in the community hall, served at the Gurdwara. This temple is also known to have one of the largest community kitchens in the world, serving 50,000 to 60,000 visitors every day. 25

PIONEERS IN SALES OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT Dr. Amit Mishra |Business Connect

Registered in 2017, Akiva Medical Devices has made a name for itself in the list of top suppliers in India. The supplier company is located in Imphal West, Manipur and is one of the leading sellers of listed products. Akiva Medical Devices is listed in Trade India’s list of verified sellers offering supreme quality of Medical Products, etc. Clients buy in bulk from Akiva for the best quality products and services. At its initiatory stage, Akiva sold just three products of medical disposable such as guidewires, catheters, PTCA Ballon and other interventional consumables. It began as a small team of three people, and is now a global enterprise. Mr. Sharma expanded this company by being on a constant look out for exposure in exports, where he found two to three customers. Starting the exports aspects in February and March of 2018, the company reached a six-figure revenue soon after. By March-April of 2018 and 2019, Akiva made a major progress and was hired as a distributor for Novamed Medical Systems B.V., Belgium. The company acquired a distributorship as an importer across all over India and SAARC countries. The product list of the company after this development jumped from three to twenty one. They marketed in PANIndia and other nearby countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Their reach also spread out to major economies like China, along with Nigeria and Kazakhistan.

The organization offers items and administrations for vascular interventions, anaesthesiology, concentrated consideration prescription, implantation treatment, medical procedure and therapeutic building and serves both, emergency clinics and specialists’ practices.

Mr. Shanker makes it a point to provide due appreciation and support to the members of his team. His appreciation to them is extended even in case of them making mistakes, as he believes that even in mistakes there are lessons to be learnt. With the start-up industry proliferating extensively, the prospects for increase in competition for Akiva seem likely. Entrepreneurships show a 75% growth through SMSE (Small Medium Start-up Enterprise), and Mr. Shanker welcomes this change. According to him, competition symbolizes progress.

Their Complete Procedural Kit makes Procedural all the more simple to deal with, having more than 200+ Solutions pack for various systems. They are searching for moderate medicinal services, and offer a wide scope of items with powerful quality.

For any entrepreneurship, the primary struggle face at its inception is that of funding and investment. Akiva started with an amount of seventy thousand INR and a single laptop. Within three months, however, with luck, grit, and determination, the company approached a turnover of eight figure in two years.

They have up their sleeves best innovative items and high-end clients for basic access. With medical industry changing even more rapidly than compared to other industries, Akiva Medical always tries to keep up with the new, innovative, technologically advanced products. The uniqueness of Akiva lies in their assurance to never compromise with quality. Quality with reasonable pricing is the key to Akiva’s popularity. They keep acquiring new products that arrive in the market and make them available for their clients at the best possible price.

Mr. Shanker was awarded the Indian National Achievers Award, and Akiva Medical Devices was awarded the Start-up 500 Award for its rapid evolution. Mr. Shanker was also nominated for the Fourth MSME Award. However, to him, his major achievements are the reputation he earned for himself and his company, the strong network of doctors, technicians, etc that he achieved, the satisfied customers and pan-India distributorship.

The R&D team at Akiva always stays on the lookout for newer products. Through intensive research, they estimate the potentiality of products, the scope of the new product in the future, and the figures associated with product before acquiring them for further distribution. The team calculates the percentage of advantages and disadvantages of any given product in record time and works with them accordingly and at a fast pace.

FUTURE PLANS Akiva plans to come up with an online pharmacy application for iPhone and Android, called My Smart Pharmacy. The beta version of the app is scheduled to be released by December, 2019. The digital app would work as a platform where hospitals or patient can directly contact vendors, and be aware of trending prices and other such information.

Technology plays an important role in the manufacturing process of the medical devices. In marketing, however, it is to be used by doctors and patients, and cannot be sold online. The digital involvement for the sale of products is hence minimal for purchase of distribution or retail purpose. The use of advertisement, too, is limited, since the run of product is determined by the experience of doctors with the equipment. Life-saving purposes of the products make it mandatory for the product to be a hundred percent satisfactory before they acquire value in the market.

Akiva also has plans to give a hand to emerging start-ups. The upcoming distributors that don’t have money but have good sources, often fail to make deals with hospitals that demand an advance credit. Akiva buys products for them and sells it to the hospital. In this process, they get entry into the field, and hospital gets its credit. Akiva shares margins in their profits, thus financing them in a non-traditional way. Akiva thus proves through its methodology Mr. Shanker’s words: “Business is not a science, it’s an art.” Messege from Shanker Sharma TO NEW ENTREPRENEUR

WORKINGS OF AKIVA Akiva Medical Devices is a private and freely claimed organization. Inside their regions of business they endeavor to be the favored accomplice for the two makers of restorative gadgets just as end users in the human services area. As of now, Akiva Medical Devices has a team of twelve to fifteen people in marketing, of which maximum positions are acquired by women. By virtue of their stronger work ethics, Mr. Shanker believes women to be more productive at their work.

The company is also driven by a steadfast commitment to corporate responsibility. Dedication to practicing business in the highest ethical manner, maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace, upholding world-class safety standards, providing sustainable offerings, and caring for their communities—all of these crucial aspects lie at the heart of how they do business at CORPQLO. Always, they operate according to the CORPQLO ‘Code of Conduct’ — mandating full compliance with laws and regulations and preserving the integrity of their company.

AN EDGE OVER THE PEERS

There aren’t many organized players in this field. CORPQLO is now coming with ONLINE Store/APP including 3D body scanning facility, and using this app they can take the body measurement of any person in the world within 30 seconds. They plan to introduce this by the end of this quarter. Siju Varghese says, “I don’t think anyone in India has invested in such technology in the corporate uniform world till now.”

THE TEAM OF ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUALS

Siju started this company based on his previous experience, and later Roshiny Mathew stepped in as a Director to support him. This has helped him to focus more on business & product development, where she takes care of the Operations. Later, early this year, Mr. Randheer Singh, with 20 years of experience in the industry, joined as Operations Head to support Roshiny. They have a team of enthusiastic individuals with creative and trendy ideas. Together, they bring forth two decades of experience in the Apparel industry and have experience in making Professional attire for some of the top Brands in the world. While working towards the latest trends in Vogue, they ensure that they maintain social and professional etiquette and their ethical values as well. Siju Varghese states, “Quality for us is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere and consistent effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution’.”

HARDSHIPS DURING THE INCEPTION OF THE COMPANY

‘Driven by Values and Powered by Passion’

Siju Varghese is the Managing Director of CORPQLO. He was the CEO at one of the largest apparel manufacturing companies where he met and interacted with a multitude of eminent business leaders across the globe. He observed meticulously how companies operate in the US, UK and Europe in the Corporate Clothing segment, and have noticed that the same segment in India is totally unorganized, and that pushed him to start this venture.

29

“If the path is straight or easy, then it is not worth taking.” says Siju. Incubated in September 2018, the biggest challenge was the recognition for CORPQLO as it was a new player then. Gradually, when CORPQLO provided value added products to the airline industries, then it started gaining the trust of clients because at that period of time no one was providing such qualitative products. The best part is that initially CORPQLO started working with one department in the airline industry, now it has covered the whole department: a feather in the cap.

INNOVATIONS WHICH CANNOT BE OVERLOOKED •

They make washable suits for Uniforms. A suit which can be washed in domestic washing machine 50 times. Normally, suits are ‘Dry clean’. The washable suit concept is something new in India, perhaps the first company to introduce this into India. Their focus lies on SUSTAINABLITY. For example, they use RECYCLED fabric for some of the Uniform Suits. Fabrics are made from RECYCLED pet bottles. They use ‘FAIRTRADE’ certified cotton on some products, another sustainable approach. They are launching ONLINE Uniform Store with a 3D body scan.

ACHIEVEMENTS TO BOAST OF

They are developing a mobile application through which they can take the measurement of the person from any corner of the world. This is going to bring a dynamic revolution in the garment industry. One of the top-notch airlines showed an interest to subscribe into this ONLINE STORE, where their staff can get the required costume through this application.

FUTURE PROSPECTS

CORPQLO is going to be associated with one of the largest organizations in Bangalore, which has over 150 campuses. The Company is going to provide uniforms, and the best part is that the students by subscribing to the CORPQLO’s app can purchase the uniforms according to their comforts, which means there is no necessity of purchasing at the time of admission if the budget is tight. They are also expanding their horizons to work with major corporates. They are looking forward to making uniforms available on a rental basis.

Easiest Countries to Get a Permanent

RESIDENCY

While moving to a new country can be exciting, the immigration process of the destination country and meeting the requirements of that particular country can be cumbersome. Factors such as climate, primary religion or culture and political-social conditions are crucial in deciding that. It is not only the destination country’s immigration policies that determines how difficult a country can be to immigrate to, but also the country of origin plays a big role in that. For instance, Americans may be more or less welcomed in a certain host country than immigrants from Russia, South Korea, or Saudi Arabia since some nations adore Americans more than others. Similarly, although far less frequently, authoritarian nations like North Korea most often restrict their residents from emigrating, making legal immigration challenging. The religion of the immigrant is also occasionally a cause for worry. For example, Kuwait, a country with a majority of Muslims, demands that immigrants be Muslims with at least five years of observance. Considering all these factors, here is a list of easiest countries to get a permanent residency. 1. CANADA The “Great White North” as Canada has been nicknamed, is one of the safest, most peaceful, happiest, and economically stable countries in the world. It is renowned for its great natural beauty and unusually courteous populace. In the majority of the country’s 10 provinces and three territories, Englishspeakers can adjust with minimal difficulty, and the government has set up dozens of programmes that make it possible for immigrants to obtain residence and eventually citizenship. The Express Entry programme, which speeds up the procedure for immigrants with in-demand job skills, is the most well-liked option. Those who have a Canadian relative, a job offers, or a plan to spend at least $125,000 CAD to start or buy a business are eligible for additional initiatives that facilitate immigration. 2. SPAIN Spain is one of the easiest nations in Europe for Americans and Canadians to move to. Its North American Language and Cultural Assistant programme, which allows you to relocate to Spain to teach English, is the reason behind this. If you find another employment outside the programme, you can then www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 5 | Issue 1 | August 2022 | INDIA

switch to a work visa. Spain is particularly well-liked among expats, mostly due to its great weather, affordable cost of living compared to other parts of Europe, public and private healthcare, and educational system. Spain’s Golden Visa programme is another factor making it a favourite travel destination.

6. NEW ZEALAND Youth acquisition is a goal for New Zealand. In New Zealand, obtaining a resident visa for someone between the ages of 18 and 30 is fairly simple. Young Westerners can travel for 12 months on the “working holiday” visa for New Zealand. If your 12-month period is up, you have the option of applying for a new visa or leaving the country. The cost of living has, nevertheless, significantly increased in New Zealand. Prices are rising across the nation as a result of rich people buying up houses. The cost of living in New Zealand is currently 10% more than in the US, and I anticipate this to accelerate.

3. PANAMA Panama offers generous benefits for international retirees and investors since it is pro-business and open to visitors. It distinguishes itself by providing a wide range of residencythrough-investment alternatives. The Business Investor Visa requires a minimum investment of US$160,000 in a new or existing business in Panama, as well as the hiring of at least five Panamanian employees. The Panama Reforestation Visa requires a minimum investment of US$100,000 in timber in an authorised reforestation project. Both of these visas can grant you a two-year temporary residence permit. You can obtain almost quick permanent residence with an investment of US$350,000.

7. AUSTRALIA There are several options available to those who desire to become Australian citizens. The government runs a plethora of programmes, including the Temporary Graduate Visa, Employer Nomination Scheme, Global Talent Visa, and Temporary Skill Shortage Visa. Individuals requesting for residence must also be under 50 years old, have the necessary qualifications, and satisfy other standards.

4. BALI, INDONESIA Bali has the most relaxed lifestyle on our list and is home to many digital nomads. Bali is a favourite choice, especially for tech-savvy hipsters, due to its inexpensive cost of living, good internet, and one of the simplest visas. Unlike Panama, Indonesia does not have a simple route to citizenship, but it does provide a fairly simple “social visa.” This residency permit is extendable for a maximum of six months. You may extend by taking a flight to the Singaporean embassy (around $100 for the ticket) and returning in three days with a new 6-month visa.

8. PARAGUAY As one of the greatest places to immigrate, Paraguay provides retirement plans in addition to investment visas. These choices make applying for citizenship and residency in the nation simple. But you must first meet a certain investment requirement before you can accomplish that. Either $5,500 must be deposited in the bank or immigrants must at least purchase a plot of land to use as an investment. Your citizenship status is updated three years after you have obtained entry to the nation. 9. MONTENEGRO The recent cheap cost of living (in comparison to other European nations) and the country’s reputation as “the new French Riviera” have made Montenegro a great place for immigrants to settle. The majority of foreigners qualify for a one-year residence visa in the categories of job, education, or family reunification. But obtaining a work visa is among the simplest methods to relocate there. Monegro has also introduced a new investment scheme leading to citizenship, however to participate in this programme, you must invest at least $350,000.

5. THAILAND If you are a highly qualified professional or have the money to invest in your permanent abode, Thailand is an easy nation to migrate to. If you apply for a SMART visa, you can relocate to Thailand. You must be a skilled worker in a certain industry, an investor, an executive, or a start-up business owner to qualify for this visa. You may reside in Thailand for one to four years, depending on the type of SMART visa you have. If you have money, joining the Thailand Elite Residence programme is another opportunity to relocate to Thailand.

Puja|Business Connect n the fast-paced world, it can be incredibly difficult to know exactly what we should be consuming and implementing on a day-to-day basis. The components and calorie count of the packaged foods we eat are just not enough to determine whether a product is nutritious and beneficial to us. With so many products on the market, it can be hard to choose - here comes the role of Nutriorg, which offers a range of nutritionrich products grown entirely organically. It has an end-to-end farm-to-kitchen model encompassing the products’ cultivation, manufacturing, and marketing.

HAVING THE EDGE OVER COMPETITORS Today, Nutriorg has become a leading name in the landscape of nutrition-rich productions. The products’ authenticity is what made this accomplishment possible. The manufacturing of every Nutriorg product is done with excellent care. They preserve complete transparency from the farm to the kitchen while conducting business ethically and honestly. Nutriorg works tirelessly to improve the lives of everyone and anybody with whom they come into contact, including their family of farmers. Organic farming calls for an elevated level of knowledge. For this reason, Nutriorg provides its farmers with training in organic farming and financial assistance.

With the vision to create a healthy future for everyone, regardless of their region or race, Mr Karan Singh Tomar and his partner Satish Raghav began the delicious success of “Nutriorg” in Rajasthan in 2014. With the two major flagship products Detox Juices (Amla & Aloe Vera) & Health Powders, in its bucket, the entire range of Nutriorg’s product portfolio is intended for the improvement of immunity, aiding the detoxification process, replenishing the nutrients of the body, and ultimately creating a better and healthier future for generations.

NUTRIORG’S REVOLUTIONARY JOURNEY: TRANSFORMING PEOPLE’S LIVES In less than ten years, they were fortunate to see the picture they imagined, from initially starting Nutriorg from just one location (Delhi) to now seeing their brand spread its wings across India and the globe. Nutriorg is transforming the lives of thousands of people with its organic food, thanks to its availability in more than 5,000 stores and presence in more than 14 countries globally. The dream, however, does not end here. In the upcoming years, these two inspiring individuals want to spread their conception of wellness and good health to more than 20,000 stores around the world and give everyone access to food that is cultivated organically and is nutrition-rich.

Talking about the key motivation behind the Nutriorg’s inception Tomar Singh stated, “I have always faced the need to be aware of every one of the proper nutrition, which is their basics right. But not everyone is well informed about what is healthy or unhealthy. They are fed the incorrect thing in the shadow of nutritious food and misinformed about the nutritional value of their diet. And this is what encouraged me to establish a venture that can be a medium for me to reach every corner of the world and educate people on the right and healthy food habits.” www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 5 | Issue 1 | August 2022 | INDIA

“We are pleased to declare that our products are pure and 100% organic. Our efforts to empower women and assist more and more farmers in leading fulfilling lives in terms of employment 42

farming; the brand is associated with more than a thousand farmers and aims to connect with more than 10,000 farmers. Proper organic farming techniques are beneficial for farmers as it keeps them away from contact with chemicals and helps maintain the health of the soil’s nutrient content. The goal of Nutriorg is to maintain healthy soil without using chemicals. They can keep it as organic as possible because of the outstanding soil fertility.

are what we are most proud of. We value the confidence of our customers since it enables us to provide much more for them,” the man behind the idea Karan Singh further apprised. TOMAR SINGH’S UNIQUE LEADERSHIP STYLE Mr Tomar follows a comprehensive approach to motivate his workforce and instils a sense of responsibility for their actions throughout the organisation. He always keeps people inspired and focused even in his absence by explaining the predetermined goals and objectives of the company. Undoubtedly, persuading someone to work well for a time is much simpler. However, it is equally challenging to keep that drive alive, and that flame is burning in their hearts forever. The leading man is making it happen with his persistent efforts and hard work. The main thought behind this is that Nutriorg should cherish even without his presence and shift the culture of “yes, but” to “yes, and.”

Nutriorg is holistically helping farmers with proper organic farming strategies that help them maintain the optimum soil fertility and, in turn, provide consumers with the best.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS ON THE WAY While working on its mission to reach the maximum number of people with healthier alternatives compared to conventional products, which are laden with hazardous toxins, Nutriorg has been striving to keep its products as close to nature as possible while maintaining high standards of the quality of the products. And in this journey of growth, the company has been the recipient of several awards and recognitions, i.e. – • Iconic Brand of The Year 2020 • India Food Safety & Submit Award 2019 • MSME 500 India Award 2020 • Best Organic Food Brand of The Year 2022 FUTURE OUTLOOK The “Nutriorg Team” is actively working to enhance the customers’ health, and the visionary is focused on bringing a more aggressive and dedicated pace to that. His firm goal is to spread awareness of health and well-being to as many individuals as he can. Consumers have the fundamental right to get the purest form of anything they consume. GIVING BACK TO SOCIETY Nutriorg is making a substantial contribution to society’s well-being by increasing farmers’ income with quality employment opportunities and education in organic

A WORD OF ADVICE TO BUYERS Advising consumers on their buying and eating habits, the visionary asserted, – “You should only trust what you believe in. Before making any purchases, ask yourself if what you are consuming is healthy for you. Is there a method to confirm the product’s authenticity? Should I rely on the products’ brand name alone? Do your homework and carefully verify the items’ ingredients and nutritional information before consuming anything you find on the market.”

Believing in their conscious, Nutriorg is on a journey to wake your conscious!” 43

DR. N. PADMANABAN OFFERING “CONVINIENCE ANYWHERE & ANYTIME” WITH CUTTINGEDGE VENDING MACHINES

Dr. N. Padmanaban

CEO, Vendomatic India Pvt. Ltd.

T

Indranil|Business Connect he three P’s — Passion, Persistence, and Patience—are essential for an entrepreneur to succeed. And it has been well represented by both men and women from all walks of life. The flourishing startup hub in India has many stories of people rising and create an own identity. Many young entrepreneurs, seasoned professionals, and business leaders are making waves and setting standards in their fields with their passion and determination to carry their ideas through to fruition. The following account highlights one such entrepreneur who persevered in the face of adversity, but still carved his path to glory. This is the story of Dr. N. Padmanaban, Founder and MD of VendomaticIndia. We recently had the honour of speaking with Dr. Padmanaban to get his perspective straight from him. As the conversation progressed, we discovered intriguing insights about his journey and how VendomaticIndia is emerging as a rising star for innovative vending machines worldwide. He immensely inspired us, and we admire his diligence and unwavering determination.

www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 5 | Issue 1 | August 2022 | INDIA

“We are India’s No.1 Vending Machine manufacturer consistently meeting customer needs with innovative solutions.”

FLAMING A DREAM, SHAPING HIS IDEA Dr. Padmanaban wasn’t born into a wealthy or business family. In reality, he was born into poverty and struggled to make ends meet while working odd jobs, including selling groceries, pumping gas, collecting debts, welding, painting, driving, and cleaning. But despite his difficulties, he never gave up on his ambition to excel in life. While struggling to stay afloat, he completed his Diploma in Electrical & Communication Engineering. Even more, he successfully pursued a B. Tech in Electronics and Communication and also an MBA holder in International Business Operations. “Education was the key driving force behind all of my success to date,” he explains.

44

In 2002, he started his career as a field Engineer in Thomson India, where he learned a great deal about smart television. After that, he worked with Nokia, where he developed a robust footing in mobile technology. And finally, he headed to Global Foundries in Singapore to hone his manufacturing skills for IC chips. Nevertheless, he yearned for more from life. Working with technologies, he became intrigued with robotics and dreamed up an automated business chain that could function efficiently from any location at any time. This inspired him to explore advanced vending machines, which is how VendomaticIndia made its market debut. Beginning in 2013, the company prospered over the following years to become one of India’s top vending machine manufacturers. The road hasn’t exactly been easy, it was tough at times. There were days when he was left in hunger, yet his determination never let him down to support his family and achieve his goals. He persisted, and now his brainchild enjoys a thriving worldwide exposure. He even took home first place at a hackathon in California, USA, for putting forth innovative and practical concepts that worked across sites. VendomaticIndia has established a standard for innovation and excellence in the manufacture of vending machines. Many institutions, like hospitals, airports, train stations, shopping malls, parks, metro stations, villas, and hotels, typically use its products. AN UNMATCHED VALUE PROPOSITION From fruit and vegetable machines to combo machines to touch screens and food & beverage vending machines, VendomaticIndia can meet various needs. However, it is technically tiring to achieve different levels of customization as the process involves significant time and expense. This is where its strategic R&D team comes into play. It is directly led by Dr. Padmanaban. The team dives deep into clients’ needs to develop a bespoke solution and drive innovations out of it. They also ensure the firm is up-tospeed with trends and innovations. The team actively participates in technical workshops, corporate presentations, and trade fairs to stay informed at all times.

Driven by its motto, “Customer First, Quality Always,” VendomaticIndia takes pride in its capacity to tailor and offer turnkey solutions. Its scalable quality is widely regarded by multinationals such as Nokia, Microsoft, McAfee, Accenture, Capgemini, Hitachi, Novartis, ICICI Bank, Mass Mutual, CPRI, Real Page, Tata Advanced Systems, Lanson, Toyota, Flex, Magna, Trelleborg, Vestas, McDermott, and others. TECHNOLOGICALLY EXCEPTIONAL VendomaticIndia is a high-tech enterprise with R&D strategies, manufacturing and sales innovations, and quality management systems. The manufacturing process has a well-thought-out strategy to ensure all requirements are met accurately. The entire process is controlled and inspected by QA & QC teams to ensure the error margin does not exceed 0.03%, as they focus on zero deviation and slippage. Each vending machine is secured by cloud technology and big data, further simplifying issues as the team emphasizes delivering “First time right.” They also support clients’ inventory control, supply chain management, frequency access, and other forms of data through their IoT platform integrated with data analytic tools. The end-to-end endeavors ensure a convenient and personalized experience for users at every location. “We view our customers’ business risks as a challenge and offer solutions that benefit us and our customers in the long run,” he says. The vending machines offer users access to the newest tools while being risk-free, ecologically friendly, and scalable. Also, cloud technology is simple to use, which aids in exceeding expectations. DETERMINED PEOPLE, A DEVOTED CULTURE Employees dictate the excellence of a company, and VendomaticIndia is a fine example of this. Its expertise stems from the fusion of teamwork, experience, and technology. The company emphasizes its employees’ development and offers certified courses and academic opportunities to keep them engaged and focused on goals. The senior leadership establishes specific KPIs and keeps close track of them to ensure their success with the bottom line in mind. The company also

45

seeks to develop leaders from within while adhering to familial values. People are free to decide and accept responsibility, and everyone on board is encouraged to contribute unique ideas and given every opportunity to succeed. “Even though there are many levels of separation between leaders and associates, each position has an aim that is in line with the company’s overall goal,” says the founder. His leadership and passion for being a learner and driving inspiration to create wonders set him apart from others. He admires Elon Musk since he gave him the drive to explore robots and fueled his ideas, which ultimately helped bring about a revolution in the manufacturing of vending machines. VendomaticIndia is growing as a result-oriented company while being people-centric and focused on internal satisfaction. Its success in the market results from its team’s innovative ideas and thought process. THRIVING WITH AN UNDEVIATED FOCUS VendomaticIndia’s creative idea of “Convenience wherever and anytime” has triumphed. This journey began with two visionaries sipping tea in a 100-sq.-ft. room. Today, it has more than 500 people to operate 3000+ machines in 1.2 acres of warehouse space. And they are expanding enormously on a global scale. They have finished over 600 installations and have a strong network of more than 100 partners. In the upcoming years, it will seek to enhance its core concept while emphasizing the development of innovative, environmentally friendly vending technology. In a broad sense, it will introduce more morally upright vending machines with barrier-free and universal designs, emergency vending machines to aid during disasters, and machine learning compatible ones that detect sold-out or failure conditions from a distance and take action to ensure maximum utilization. THE FOUNDER’S ADVICE

“Be passionate, intuitive and innovative towards your business. Take calculated risks associated with investing and set your focus to turn challenges into opportunities.”

Wickremesinghe became the acting president last week after Rajapaksa fled to the Maldives in a military plane and then took a commercial flight to Singapore. The mood of the protesters was muted with only 100 people on the steps of the President’s Secretariat. Several protesters who forced the removal of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa last week wanted Wickremesinghe to leave too, calling him an ally of the Rajapaksa family. “Now everyone must come together,” the 73-year-old Ranil Wickremesinghe said after his victory.

Sri Laxnka is not in a position to host Asia Cup T20

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Wednesday (July 20) informed the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that the board would not be in a position to host the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup T20 due to the economic and political crisis in the country. The development comes after SLC recently postponed the 3rd edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) due to the ongoing crisis. According to reports, Sri Lanka, which has the hosting rights of the August Asia Cup T20, has spoken of hosting the T20 tournament in the UAE or any other place. Sri Lanka is now under the new leadership of Ranil Wickremesinghe. The protesters say they will continue their “struggle” till Wickremesinghe is gone. The new president will have the mandate to serve the remainder of Rajapaksa’s term, which ends in November 2024.
