Robin’s passion for entrepreneurship is derived from several factors of her upbringing. Since her childhood, she was driven to create differences out of opportunities which eventually attracted her to engineering and technology. With the support of her family, including seven siblings, this girl translated her dream into action. In her words, becoming an engineer

enabled her to enjoy fast-paced learning in technology. Her parents were educators, which further motivated her for selfdevelopment and foster the growth of others.This childhood learning played an integral role in her career. Robin began her professional career in 1985 at AT&T and spent 2 decades as its SVP & Chief Compliance Officer EHS. Afterwards, she scaled new heights in her career by serving global tech cloud-borders such as Blackberry and Samsung.

Yet even all this success wasn’t shaping her motivation to bring transformation in the technology space. As such, after 30+ years in global firms, Robin stood down brought her dream to reality and focused on helping other technologists. In 2017, she founded Atlanta Technology Park, which is an ecosystem of entrepreneurial acceleration. Robin is a C Level executive and board member and a lucrative advisor to almost 100 Global Companies. Through Atlanta Tech Park, she is shaping her ambition to support others in their development. Through her tech foundation, she provides free support and space to help the Veterans Memorial, bringing a technical high school team in to build out the video capabilities for the memorial. She further sponsored Prototype Prime’s launch event at the facitlity’s aviation building, and enabled the engagement of 250 people. Not just this, Robin unfurls several assignments for interns at the Park and invests her time towards training ingenuine minds. In her professional career, Robin is honoured with several accolades. At AT&T, she earned the ‘AT&T Software Excellence award’, for Project Ruby. Her end-to-end support as host of Tiffany Circle was recognized, by The American Red Cross. Her name was listed in the ‘Top 18 Women to Watch in 2018’ by Inc. Magazine. She also holds a respectful presence as one of the top 100 CIO’s in STEM. Robin’s career further conferred the multimillion-dollar Samsung Business Services and successfully controlled a $9 Billion P&L as BlackBerry’s Chief Information Officer.

In her illustrious career, Robin mostly executed leadership positions like CEO, CIO and COO across global business units and mentored 30,000 employees. She has in-depth knowledge of leadership and expertise in P&L, strategic planning, vendor management, data analysis, business development and matrixed team leadership.

Harvey Ball was a native American and an iconic artist, known as a designer of the very famous smiley graphic picture, which became an enduring and notable international icon. In 1963, Harvey was hired by an insurance company to design a morale-boosting icon for its employees for the smiley iconic image. He made $45 for his 10 min effort. In 1999 ball established a non-profit charitable Trust called Word Smile Foundation that supports support children’s cause.

Ball grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts, raised by his parents Ernest G. Ball and Christian or Kitty Ross Ball. He had five siblings, three younger their names of merit, Virginia and Raymond, and two older by the name of Jessie and Ernest jr. During his study, he became an apprentice to a local sign painter. Ball did schooling from South Sigh School in 1940. Later, he went to Worcester Art Museum School to study fine arts.

During World War II, Ball was an army veteran who worked in the National Guard for 27 years. He was serving in Asia and the Pacific, Okinawa, and Leyte. In 1973, Harvey Ball retired as a Brigadier General. In 1979, He also worked in the Army Reserves, retired as a full colonel.

SCHOOLING LIFE BALL’S EARLY AND HIS

CAREER.

After World II, Harvey started working for a local advertising firm until it came an idea to start his own business. In 1959, he created a company and named it Harvey Ball Advertising.

The state mutual life assurance company (now called Hanover Insurance company, headquarter Worcester Massachusetts), had just merged with an out-of-town competitor - a Mutual company of Ohio. The merger resulted showed low morale in an employee. In resolving it, the insurance company hired him as a freelance artist to create an image that can bring lift up the sprite around the office. In less than 10 min, he apparently created a design smile face and got paid $45 for the creation.

The symbol of a smiley face became part of the insurance company’s friendship campaign, whereby state mutual gave 100 smiley pins to employees. The intention was to bring a smile while working or handling another task. The yellow smile icon on the buttons became very popular sold more than 50M by 1971.

In 1999, Ball founded a non-profit charitable trust called World Smile Corporation. Today, the corporation licenses Smileys and organizes World Smile Day raises funding for Smile Foundation.

DEATH

On April 12, 2001, at the age of 79, Harvey Ross Ball passed away due to liver failure following a short illness. He left his wife for 54 years, Winifred Trudell, and four children.

The Tata Safari is now back in the market! Recently, Tata has opened their official booking for the all-new Safari of its Feb 22 launch. In terms of Safari Variants, the car will be offered publicly in six trims: XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. The safari seating capacity is 6- and 7. The six-seat variety safari will have the option of driver seats in the top-spec version. This harrier-based three-row SUV car is powered by the same 2.0 L diesel engine that produces 170Ps and 350Nm. It has a choice of 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. But the automatic could be limited to the top-spec variant at launch. It has also an expectation that Tata is going to offer a 1.5 L turbo-petrol unit and an AWD at the later date. As far as Safari Features are concerned, The Tata Safari is coming with 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment, iRA Connected car tech, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and a 6-way powered driver seat.
